Its good to know this app is consistently bad in other countries. The most useless banking app I have ever had the displeasure of using. the interface looks like it was thought up by a 75 year old and ever useful function is blocked in the name of security. this is despite it timing out on you every 5 sec, the requirement for multifactor authentication, need security keys to access the actual website, and lord nows what else. I truly look forward to the day I am no longer a customer with them.

I used this app previously without any issues, but suddenly a few days ago it stopped working. I tried to reinstall, but it no longer appears in the Play Store. When I downloaded it from the HSBC website, it said not compatible with my phone, so I couldn’t install it. When I tried to log in via the web version, it asked for a security code — but the code can only be generated through the app itself. Since the app can’t be installed, there’s no way to log in at all. This design makes no sense.

This app is really lousy. After the update, I cannot remain logged in, my bottom menu will always be blocked by my buttons. No idea what is the update for
