Help keep your family safe and connected on the go with Verizon Family. With features such as Location sharing, Parental Controls, Safe Walk with SOS, Crash Detection, Roadside Assistance, and Family Line all in one app.

From a single app, you can:
- Use content filtering
- Monitor and limit Verizon call and text activity on smartphones
- Limit Verizon data usage on smartphones or connected tablets
- Monitor web and app activity
- Manage screen time
- Pause internet
- Use location sharing, pick-me-up and check-in features
- Get location alerts
- View driving activity

Basic location sharing is now available on your Smartwatch via Wear OS. Location services such as Safe Walk & 24/7 Assist are not available at this time.

Legal: To use the Verizon Family app, a Verizon standard monthly postpaid account on an eligible device or an invitation from a Verizon account is required. Verizon postpaid mobile plans include Verizon Family location sharing features at no add’l cost or upgrade to Verizon Family Plus ($14.99/mo until canceled) for location sharing and alerts, parental controls for calls, texts and online activity, driving insights and roadside assistance. Roadside assistance through Signature Motor Club, 4 events/yr. Verizon Family app download required. Service does not monitor calls or texts sent over the internet and does not contact 911 for crash or SOS alerts. Push notifications must be enabled to see when new members join family acct. Some alerts sent via text message. Msg & data rates apply.

I am trying to remove the restrictions on some of my lines. I can't get into the app. It doesn't even tell me if the password is wrong, it just says client error. So I tried to cancel Smart Family through my PC and it keeps saying there is an error, try again later. I can't even get a live rep to chat with, just a bot. Very frustrating because my elderly parents can't make phone calls after midnight! This was never a problem before, and now suddenly I'm getting cut off while talking.

This app is just so so. I'm paying $10 a month and can't even get this so to work half the time! Every time I try to do something like, block numbers, set night time or school time, add trusted numbers, etc, I get a message telling me that they are having technical issues and to try later. Well, how much later?? Day after day it does this! What's the point of this show of you can't do anything! I'm actively looking for another option to use where the developers actually take pride in their app!

Can we suggest you open a ticket using the in-app help center? Getting a ticket via the app, provides us with the supporting information like phone number, model, OS etc. You can also check back in the help center for response to your issue. This can be found under the App settings, Help Center, Send Feedback

I have had this app for almost a month and it hasn't worked at all, it just say technical difficulties.I can't set restrictions, block numbers or even add trusted numbers. I have called and talked to several tech people, I went to the store, I have several "tickets" open to address the problem, but no one knows how to work it. One rep had me clear data and uninstall it, when that didn't work she literally said "well, we went through the whole troubleshooting guide" . good grief!! Please fix this

What's new

This release of Verizon Family Plus allows members to request Roadside Assistance directly from the app — a service formerly available only to guardians and dependents.
