It's clear the developer forgot why people downloaded Aldiko in the past. It's so bad now, used to be simple: open app, see files that were imported, could open one and scrub through it... Finding what I want to read should not be an experience, you're doing a good job when people don't know you're there. Time to find a different reader. Coolreader still works!

Hello, we are sorry you did not have a positive experience with our app. Could you please explain in more details the problems you had with the app? We will forward it to our tech team for future developments. Thank you.

More than happy to pay for an app, but not going to subscribe to an ereader, no matter how good the previous version was. Give me a perpetual option or I'll have to find something else. Edit: It's a little disingenuous to reply that you sell a perpetually licensed version at the same time that you announce you're not going to be updating that particular product anymore. I paid a while ago for the full version of Aldiko and I'd be more than happy to pay for the development of a newer product, just not on a subscription basis.

Hello Fred, There's a perpetual option available as well, it's "Aldiko Classic Premium". Update: While "Aldiko Classic Premium" itself won't be updated anymore, it'll work as an unlock key for Aldiko 4.0 (Q1 2019) to unlock premium features. Best, The Aldiko Team

This new version feels like a bait & switch. What is Feedbooks? I didn't download that app. And I have to rebuild my library? I'm just getting a new app. I only wanted a basic epub reader and this clearly does not fit that bill. I've already got Libby for library books and Kobo for purchases. Stick to what you're good at, Aldiko. Find out what your customers want and give it to them -- don't cram your next big idea onto our devices without consent.

Our goal is to provide an experience that allows users to bring their own e-books, buy from an ebookstore or borrow from a public library without installing multiple apps. In most countries, neither Libby (Overdrive) or Kobo are available, so users will need an app capable of supporting Readium LCP now that Adobe DRM is dying. The Aldiko Team
