Update: I didn't think it could get worse, but it has. The latest update caused the vehicle status to stop responding. The oil change, fuel level, etc. will not update anymore. I reinstalled the app, reconnected my phone to the vehicle, reaccomplished the trusted device steps, and even activated android auto. At least that got controls working again, but not anything else. To add insult to unhurt, if I close the app, it won't open back up unless I restart my phone. PITA

Seeing the status and diagnostics of your vehicle is a core feature of the app that we don't want you missing out on, Mike. Our team here would love to step in and see if we can be of assistance. To begin, please email us at socialmedia@gm.com with "Attn: myGMC App/Mike Oglesbee" in the subject line with more information. ~Jacob

Buyer beware. When you first buy your vehicle the app is easily available. You give GM permission to do all sorts of things, and when your vehicle hits a certain mileage they start charging you. The permission you gave them is still there but they are not providing you any service. They can track your oil change intervals, speed, etc... not for you, but to deny warranty.

The app is so slow to respond to any changes and the vehicle is even slower to respond. It doesn't automatically refresh stats on the car when I open the app. I have to click refresh and it spends a little while trying to get the information but most of the time it errors. I have tried changing the target charge level multiple times over the last 3 months and haven't once gotten it to work from the app. @GMC why is it so slow to do everything?
