I love this game, and the app is even better than the physical version. It's nearly perfect. all it's missing would be a few more options for multiplayer time limits. You can do 30 minutes, one week, or four weeks. 30 minutes is often too short, but a week is much too long! Why no option for one hour, or 24 hours? Two days? We need more options in between.

So far it is a solid implementation, but it lacks some of the functionality of the desktop (Steam) version. Specifically, It does not highlight cards that require action from the player. For example, in the desktop version, when certain cards are eligible for being played, discarded, or various other actions, the desktop version will surround them with a glowing highlight. Without this, it is not always obvious which cards need action. This is confusing, especially for new players.

The app works fine enough. Sadly, playing against the AI usually ends up being boring. On "medium"' the AI doesn't play well enough to really compete, and on "hard" it's so ruthless about playing the "consume for 2x points, produce" cycle that winning a game has nothing to do with skill, just the coin flip of whether you draw exactly the cards you need to do the cycle first. Ultimately, the base game just isn't very well balanced, but the expansions are too expensive to bother with.
