Update: hard to believe it's been 12 years since my first review. Unfortunately this game has changed, updates to make it harder. I remember being able to beat most the levels without need for spending gems on stuff. Now it's impossible to win the later challenges without spending gems on bombs and stuff. Pay to win.

I love this game! one of the best tower defense games ever put to design by far. the style and art direction is instantly recognizable while keeping things readable. the only negative I have is the heroes. the very pay to win nature of the heroes is slightly disappointing. I just hope that doesn't become a bigger thing in later games. thankfully the prices are pretty fair.

I didn't think I was going to enjoy this game as much as I do. It's more strategic most TD games, with a bit more freedom. Example, I played a level three times using different tower, placed in different areas, had different results and won 2 out 3. So far earning currencies seems reasonable and to receive more you have a choice of watching ads. Oh, NO FORCED ADS... SO FAR.
