About this game

This game is optimized for tablets and not recommended for phones with screen sizes under 7 inches.

Evil stirs beneath the Spine of the World.

In the northernmost reaches of the Forgotten Realms lies the region of icy tundra known as Icewind Dale. Journey deep into the Spine of the World mountains, a harsh and unforgiving territory settled by only the hardiest folk. Encounter fearsome beasts that have learned the cunning and ferocity needed to survive among the snow-shrouded peaks. Confront an evil that schemes beneath the carven glaciers and mountainsides to wreak destruction upon the face of Faerûn. This is the world of Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition.

Originally released in 2000, Icewind Dale is a Dungeons & Dragons game set in Wizards of The Coast's legendary Forgotten Realms. This Enhanced Edition allows a new generation of players to experience this epic adventure.

- Swords and Sorcery: Discover dozens of new spells and items, including new magic armor and weapons.

- Blackguards and Wizard Slayers: Select from more than 30 new kits and classes to create the perfect adventuring party.

- A New Look: Experience the Enhanced Edition's all new interface, including the new Quickloot bar.

- Bring A Friend: Join your fellow adventurers in cooperative, cross-platform multiplayer games.

- More to Experience: Enjoy the countless bug fixes and improvements that await you in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition!

Really great game and adaptation. As I've gotten older and started replaying the old RPGs I played as a kid in the 90s, this one has come out as my favorite, and I played them all. The key factor in this is being able to full customize your entire party from the very beginning. That factor alone gives me endless replayability not just through the sheer mechanics of designing different combinations of cohesive and supporting skills and classes, but also in terms of theme and RP.

took months to receive an update after paying for the game. probably lost all of my save information. haven't been able to play since the update, because the game refused to open. now, it won't download or update without freezing my phone. for waiting so long, it's ridiculous there is no compensation for all that has happened. especially being a game that I paid for, I expect to be able to use it whenever I see fit, and, now, I cant even use it at all. I love the game, but not the developers.

It deserves full stars, outside of one glaring issue. You can't delete or replace created characters or their import profiles and they max out very, very quickly. This means soon after creating a couple parties you can no longer create any new characters. It's an extraordinary shame. That's what gives this game replayability. Please provide a way of deleting created characters; give a warning at the very least, for other players.
