Searching and purchasing are very easy, straight forward and convenient, I'll give em that. my concern is that it rarely gives you all the options actually available so Ive learned to double check with the actual provider themselves, and it somehow charges you a massive currency conversion rate (I think, its the only thing I can think of for tacking on an extra 50% somehow). I get it, you need to make money too, but I dont like how you're doing it, which is shady. Convenient, but shady.

Never again! Omio is terrible at assisting when travel plans are canceled. We had a train cancel on us, and Omio has told us repeatedly that they can't refund our purchase price. Instead they send us to navigate the train website where the only option is to get a voucher for future train rides. That voucher is less than the cost of our original purchase price by a lot. Save yourself some money, and time, and just book directly through the service you're using, like SNCF.

It's an ok app. Bought train tickets from Copenhagen to Stockholm. And that's it. That's all the app provided. Only received one push notification like "YAY You're leaving tomorrow" and nothing else. No information about the platform. No live updates. No information about the connecting train. No info about the stops along the way. The app does a lot (train, cars, hotels) but at least trains, it doesn't do well enough for me. I expected more. Maybe that's on me.
