The app does work, but you might have to reconnect each time you want to see your camera on your phone. it doesn't connect automatically for me on Android. Normally I just check the footage if there's a reason, like getting cut off in traffic. I decided to download the Google maps as opposed to the subscription offered. The map location and speed are pretty accurate. My only suggestion for improvement would be having the map in night mode, so when I'm driving it's not so bright.

Kind of bare-bones & basic, but it definitely works and is stable! I'd prefer if the app/camera would NOT automatically start recording when connected to the phone via wifi. I'd also love more features added to the camera & app if it's possible to update the firmware via wifi. For example, it would be great if there could be two pre-programmed shooting/video modes that could be accessed. Maybe with 3 rapid button presses, it could enter Video Mode 2 with different resolution & exposure settings.

To access your videos, simply take the SD card, use an adapter, and connect it to your phone or computer. Avoid using this app; I've tried to view my recordings multiple times, but it consistently freezes during playback and either deletes all the data on the SD card or corrupts it. I know this because I tested it, and its the app. It's often unreliable and struggles to connect as well.
